Have you purchased something on the Web? If so, recall your experience as a shopper and a customer; go back to the site if you want to re-explore it from a design perspective.

Write a plan that outlines the major functions, including brief (1-2 sentences) descriptions, needed for an online store that sells T-shirts. Think about how first-time visitors and repeat (registered) visitors would experience and want to use the site. Also consider that they will need to be able to find and buy what they want.

In this exercise, you are planning functions from the "store" side.
For example, your Web server will be handling such tasks as responding appropriately to both first-time visitors and returning customers. What would "appropriately" mean in either case? And how should other parts of the shopping experience be handled?
